I went to Kayu Aro. Kayu Aro is a district in Kerinci regency, Jambi, Indonesia. Kayu Aro is known as tea producing region. Probably not many people know Kayu Aro tea grown in the highlands of Mount Kerinci, Jambi. In fact, Kayu Aro is the best Indonesian tea. In colonial era, Kayu Aro tea became a drink for Queen of England and Queen of Netherlands. Kayu Aro tea production is exported to many countries in the world and for fulfilling the domestic needs. There, I saw the expanse of old tea garden forms plots such as velvet motifs. Not only captivating, this garden also has a lot of uniqueness. Kayu Aro tea garden is the widest expanse of tea in the world, "The nobles in Europe become customers of Kayu Aro tea, "said a farmer in Kayu Aro, when I took some pictures.
The green expanse of tea plants are like tapestry. In hindsight, Mount Kerinci fence with its perfect form. But unfortunately, Mount Kerinci which is located in Kayu Aro area, covered up by the thick fog right on top so the activity of blowing smoke couldn’t be seen from the crater of the mountain. Mount Kerinci is the highest volcano in Sumatra. Not far from this region, there is seven mountain lake in an altitude of 1,950 meters above sea level, the highest volcanic lake in Southeast Asia. How beauty it is! The cold which touches the skin, indicating that we are in an mountains area.
After enjoying the taste of Kayu Aro Tea, accompanied by plantation panorama then next I went to another beauty in Kerinci, namely Telun Berasap Waterfall. Telun Berasap Waterfall is one of waterfalls in Kerinci. The existence of this beautiful waterfall will give a deep impression because it is between the green grove Kerinci Seblat National Park. Telun Berasap Waterfall is covered by bushy trees with the roar of water which hit the steep rocks will be heard loud from a distance before it was in front of us. The fatigue after a long journey from Jambi City will be paid by the beautiful natural scenery in the region. This waterfall flows through the steep cliffs. The water flows through the rock formations.
The Source of Telun Berasap Waterfall is rivers that disgorge around Mount Seven, and the main source of water is the Mount Seven Waterfall, that is waterfall which flow from the lip of Lake Gunung Tujuh which is on the top of Mount Seven. This attraction can be reached by car. This attraction is an interesting area. Visited by many domestic tourists and foreign tourists.
