I grew up in Africa (South Africa, Malawi and Tanzania) but I now live in Australia. Fortunately my parents still live in Tanzania which means I get to make trips back there at least once year. This is a few photos from my most recent trip back in June of this year. I particularly enjoyed this trip because my boyfriend came along with me. It was his first time to Africa so I sort of had a chance to experience everything from the eyes of someone who hadn't seen it all before. We went to game parks, (Mikumi and Saadani) islands, (Zanzibar and Bongoyo) and spent a lot of time just relaxing in Dar es Salaam.
Tanzania is my favourite place in the world I love the relaxed lifestyle and the spirit of the people, the amazing landscape and the perfect beaches, the fact that you can escape to beautiful places and be the only people there but when you want to go out and experience the night life or culture there is so much to chose from.
It's an amazing country and I hope that my photos portray that image.
