Home sweet home...in Germany that is. Finally found a hotel/hostel in Augsburg. Tried to get away from the Okoberfest prices in Munich yet they bled into the hotel scene here too. Prices here at Hotel Jakoberhof were double what they quoted on HostelWorld.com. But...they compromised with me by only increasing the price by 50%. Hopefully €35 is the most I'll have to pay for lodging. Now that I have a place to call home for the next 15 hours I can venture out, find a beer and some food. My dogs are pretty tired so it will be a short night on the town. Gotta gear up for tomorrow! I'll start my research tonight.
