Italy is my favourite country in the world. It is the place that I visited on my first solo overseas trip and what inspired my love for travel photography. All I wanted to do was to photograph the amazing sights that are so different from growing up in New Zealand. On my second trip back to Italia, I visited the Cinque Terre. This is the place I have chosen to submit photos of for this competition. The culture, the colours, the food and the beauty of the natural surroundings are things that I will remember forever. I am so lucky to have been able to visit this beautiful region and to photograph it to share with others.
Photography is my biggest passion; closely followed by travel. I love to experience the difference cultures and colours of the world and document these through photography. It would be the most amazing thing to be able to learn travel photography from a professional. I would be so grateful to win this experience and to further my passion for photography.
