Riding on the main river in Hamburg. The houses that run along the river were given to captians when they retired, not a bad deal. Some of them are just beautiful, others need a little bit of love.

Riding on the main river in Hamburg. The houses that run along the river were given to captians when they retired, not a bad deal. Some of them are just beautiful, others need a little bit of love.

Bike riding with Gisela and Helmut, about my grandparents age. Actually they set a craking pace, rather fit. I think I was still half asleep though, but the cold wind quickly woke me up. Amazing to see so many people riding bikes, in Australia it's a rare sight, especially in cities. If anything drivers, especially buses, try to run them over.

At the 'Welcoming Point' for the port in Hamburg. It plays the national anthem of the ship and gives a brief description of what the ship is transporting. Riviting!
