My name is Kayla Horn and I'm 18. I am a starting Photography student at CSU - Sacramento. The first time I was introduced to National Geographic, it made me want to travel the world; that was 5th grade. Now I am a College Freshman and my dream is to travel the world and capture every moment of my adventures as a photographer! I know this is a big competition and my photos may not be as strong as some others, but I thought I should take the opportunity since it was there. Even if I don't win this Scholarship - and the opportunity to have such a great experience - I will still be grateful to have run across it, because entering this Scholarship alone has taught me so much about photography I never knew before. If I were to win I would love to document my days, especially with photos, and work with such an amazing photographer! His videos taught me a lot as it is and I know there's still a lot to learn in this field. Thank you all so much for offering such a great opportunity! I look forward to (hopefully!) hearing back from you guys in February!
