Iceland in March

We really don’t know how much time we have here on earth, so I’ve made it my philosophy to see as much here on earth in as little time as I can. Most people wait until they retire to go explore the world, but time here on earth is limited. I believe that opening your eyes to different cultures, different normals, and new experiences makes you a more well rounded person. While most people my age are spending their money on new cars, things, and material possessions, I spend mine on experiences.

Hello...My name is Katie Van Fleet and I am the type of person who is always planning my next adventure. I have a case of wanderlust that just cannot be cured. I’m 33 years old and have checked off everything on my bucket list which included chasing tornados in the midwest, witnessing the northern lights in the artic circle, I’ve hiked macchu piccu, getting a fishy foot massage in Cambodia, and photographing milky way on Easter Island. Not only am I always looking for my next adventure, I am also a video editor for my career, which is why I think I’d be a good candidate for the 2015 film scholarship to Colombia. Every trip that I take, I document in video. Don't get me wrong, I love photography, but I love how you can tell a story in video. I document my trips because I am passionate for creative storytelling mixed with the adventure of the outdoors. There is no two things that I love more!
