Human Whisperers: The Soothing Impact of Therapy Dogs

Meet Zoe

As long as I can recall, the exterior world was fascinating to me. As a child, my backyard forest became a hidden grotto of possibility; strange bugs and crisp scents under every felled log, curious textures hidden within every crystalline brook. As I grew older, books and writing became paramount to exploration - traveling through the landscapes of the mind, discovering the self through text.

Entering adulthood, journeys abroad were formative in understanding the world, and humanity more broadly. The enigmatic sensation of being in different spaces, where people carried on their livelihoods day to day; learning about new worlds, old cultures, enlightened minds.. each distinct setting was a journey home, a new way of understanding our human community.

I would welcome the opportunity to explore the unknown horizons of Colombia's Pacific Coast: to humbly observe the newness and vivacity of a landscape and it's people via videography. To operate under the tutelage of an established filmmaker would allow for the translation of my innate curiosity through the lens of the camera in ways that are accessible and evocative for viewers anywhere. To be able to ask questions, listen and observe with the people of this region; to view the landscape and cement such perspectives in film; this is a phenomenal opportunity, and I would not miss the chance to take part for the world :)

Thanks for your time!
