Who am I? Part of my journey so far has taught me a lot about who I am, like, when I travel I no longer have the desire to stay in dorm rooms, unless they are filled with people I know, and ensuites rock! I'm still learning about myself though... I'm teaching English in Korea... and I quite like it! Most of the time!(I came here in 2002-2003 for a year and left saying I had no desire to come back, but 4 years later... I had quit my job in NZ and was on my way back to Korea... it's now been three years since I've been back, and I'm staying a little longer!)

I used to send these lengthy emails home and just thinking about how there is now no record of those emails with all their little gems, witticisms, snarky remarks and social commentaries... all gone! It got me motivated to put some of it down in this journal... at the mo, the journal is more for me, but if someone can find some usefulness or entertainment from it, so be it!

Living in Korea has given me a lot of opportunities to head out on little trips to Thailand, Laos, China, Taiwan, and Japan... oh and of course around Korea! Really, this experience has given me the urge to travel more... and forget the cost and look more at the value of something.

Anyway, I digress... I'm currently 30, almost 31, engaged to a lovely bloke who is now back home in New Zealand, who I miss like crazy... but, understands that we all need to do what we need to do. Besides, weddings are freaking expensive... so a little longer in Korea never hurt anyone! Peace, love and fush n' chups xx
