So I have booked my next leg. I am flying to Vancouver, B.C on January 31st. Once I get there, my real travelling will begin. I know absolutely no-one, I have nothing lined up. I am absolutely petrified and equally thrilled by the idea of getting lost in a city I know nothing much about.
Today, I applied for 5jobs at Whistler Blackcomb Resort. EVeryone keep your fingers crossed that I get one of them. If I do, I also get super cheap employee housing, so it'd be a great great thing for me.
Here in Quebec it's awful today. We had a flash freeze, all the roads are super icy. School was cancelled, kindergarten daycares were too, a lot of people didn't make it to work...just awful!
Apart from that everything is going really super well. I've caught up with a lot of people I hadn't seen in years which is awesome, I'm hopefully going to have a great weekend and then I'll be almost ready to move on.
