Hello All,

For those who may not know me - My name is Kate, I am a mid-twenty something year old and recent M.Ed Graduate of Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. But in the grand scheme of things, I didn't come here to tell you about me, I came to share the excitement and adventure.

I am about to make a dream that I have had since I was 18 years old, a reality.

I am travelling to Tanzania, Africa where I will be able to teach women the skills they needs so they can have a brighter future. I will be joining Give A Heart to Africa, as they continue their remarkable work to provide women with opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have.

At the end of January, I will be joining an organization in Tanzania, Africa. This organization, called Give A Heart To Africa provides women with the skills they need (English, Business, Mathematic and Vocational) so they can work in the organization's co-op or start their own businesses, to support their families. The women I will be teaching have not received much more than an elementary education and range in age between 25 and 55 years old.
Give A Heart To Africa survives solely on its volunteers and the donations it receives in order to give these women a FREE education. I am so thankful to be able to be a part of the journey.
