My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Cuba | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 5 photos
I am fascinated by the vastness of perspectives that exist throughout the world; due to this fascination, I am eager to see all hours of the day, play with different light, different energies, and different occurrences.
I study International Development Studies, a program that looks deep into the realities of global inequality. To counteract the negative, art and conversation have been my two main outlets, thus photography is my preferred medium; a photograph is a means to capturing beauty and catalyzing a conversation.
I am intent on discovering all that is outside of my comfort zone, the places where people don’t often go, the things which people don’t often do, chasing to embrace the abnormal in a day where many would keep to an ordinary schedule of events.
Oman is not a country I originally anticipated traveling to; however, it is often the magic you don't suspect that has the most impact.
I aim to improve my technique both for forecasting and capturing those moments that open up an opportunity for others to become inspired, conscious, and appreciative of the world and its infinite perspectives.
