I mostly prefer the documenting side of photography. I like to shoot children most. I am moved by their smile, happiness, and sufferings. In travel photography we generally concentrate on the natural beauties of the place but I always try to find out the human interventions in a particular area I visit. The people, their culture, heritage, occupation, food, cloths, rituals etc. attract me more.
I use mostly compact cameras (sometimes mobile phone camera)to capture the candid moments. Sometimes use SLR (Canon 1000D with 18-55 mm lens). I always try to shoot from as close as possible of my subjects. To me travel photography means portraying of that place I’m visiting with its natural specialties and of course the human elements.
I was very much thrilled to see the scopes in this contest. I would be a great opportunity for me if I get such a golden chance to improve my photography.
