My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I have always enjoyed photography and have 'the eye' but haven't really taken much time to actually do something of it. I guess taking that leap of faith and pushing my artistic and detail side to actually do something about it, well, that's why I'm interested in this opportunity. I have travelled overseas only when I was 14, to Finland, but I guess that experience really made me aware and positive about where we live. I love the world and the many places we can go, it's an amazing time that we can travel to Peru within a week, where as 100 years a go it was an impossible task.

My greatest fear is being exposed to the act of taking the photo, the fear that people do not want their photo taken, that they will act aggressively. This has changed over time since I did a photo collaboration with a friend where we took photos of reflective and transparent surfaces in and around the city of Brisbane. People looked, most out of interest, not anger.

What really puts me apart from another is my positive attitude, my fitness, I think I have a level of charisma that can be felt by somebody looking at me in the eye and thinking that he's ok, he's going to do the right thing, he respects me.
