Getting the perfect image in natural situations is extremely difficult! Without any possibility to ask people to stand still for a second or ability to move things around every shot feels like gambling.

This is also why I love photography. It’s a challenge and it’s difficult, but when one of the thousands of images turns out just the way it should it feels amazing.

By entering the scholarship I hope to get a chance to work with the best, to learn how to read situations ahead and understand more about composing before I press the trigger. I would like to learn how to take less shots and get better photos.

I’m originally from Norway. I’ve seen exotic places, met happy children on the street, now managing a ski lodge in Kashmir and still fascinated by those events that happens in normal life. The things we forget to snap are those that intrigue me the most.

With my entry I hope to gain knowledge about travel
photography, learn how to work as a professional, manage to understand the art of photography better and most of all take real quality photos that might be the first step to make a living of what I love.
