My Scholarship entry - A day in Zion National Park

I am an American, a college graduate, a former office worker, a photographer, a wanna-be professional photographer, a friend, a wife and a dog walker. I spend my days outside, exploring different parts of my city with some amazing dogs by my side. I take tons of pictures of them and love experiencing the joy that comes from sharing those pictures with their owners.

Recently, I invested in a Nikon D5100 and my passion for photography exploded. I love going out to explore and take pictures of whatever parts of the world I can get to, and want to continue learning different ways to capture this amazing world.

I hope to use photography to inspire others to get outside and explore - whether that’s far away or right at home. Its also a dream of mine to use photography to help animals - whether bringing the plight of an endangered species to light or by helping an animal from the shelter get adopted.

You should choose me because I will work long and hard to assist you and because of my passion for photography, traveling, meeting new people and discovering new places. More so, you should choose me because I want to continue to find ways to use photography to give back to the world.
