About karanya

Artistic eyes of a Devotee sadhu of Lord Shiva at Maha Kumbh Mela at Haridwar.

The city of haridwar is flooded with thousands of saints all over the world and the atmosphere near the ganges river is filled with their hymes and prayers to please the God.
It is among this we found such priest which had colored his face blue with three lines on his fore head
disguising himself into one of the devotees of Lord Shiva. His face gives a sense of cold glaciers and also like poison effect on his face and eyes.Just as lord Shiva turned blue after drinking the poison out of the whole world.
This picture shows a sense of religious faith in god and its divine power

My name is Karan Garg. I belong to the royal city Nabha of Punjab and brought up in Panchkula to a business family. I am 26 years old and enjoying the best of my youth.

I am MBA graduate from ICFAI business school. I have played a major part in organizing a number of management meets & cultural events. Recently I have gained professional experiences in the field of management with companies like Gsk-ch, ICFAI, eSys Technologies ltd, LS Industries ltd.

I pursue interesting hobbies, which include dancing, playing guitar and chess, interacting with people, photography & travelling in different cultures of various Countries which satisfy my yearning for adventure. I had opportunity to visit a few countries to extend my interest of travelling to places like Singapore, Dubai, Nepal, China.

Most of the time when I get free from work we like to travel up-hills or a metropolitan near-by to enjoy our time out. This is the best time where I observe things, nature and people around and click myself an observation and express it out by way of photography.Through this hobby i like to correlate the natures play with the existance of mankind and with its makings.

This hobby was gifted to me by my brother. Thanks to him he bought me an IPhone on my 23rd birthday. As a fancy to the new gadget i tried out shooting some good photos. Friends around me were impressed and applauded my photos this gave birth to my interest in photography. I tried out first hand shot with click picks with my family, which extended my casual interest over to clicking places, nature, and people.

I want to be a part of this journey as I have crave to explore new places and learn a lot about new destinations there weather, food, lodging , traditions and to the most different people and their views. I like to express my surroundings of what I see and feel through my Photography. I don't earn my living through photography but it would be a real experience to learn how to better click a photograph which could express my experience in a better way. It would help change the outlook to a global prospective .I am less conversant to the skill of Colour changing in field of photography, this scholarship would help me gain experience from the masters of this field and also gain international community exposure. Through this platform I would love to show “nature’s play with human race” through my photographs. Greenland would allow me to expand my horizon beyond Asian continent and opportunity to click in the glacier region. This Scholarship would help me upgrade from IPhone to Professional DSLR and enhance my photography skills.
