My name in Maia Balam, im a neo nomadic social activist and a multidimedia artist, for the last 4 years I have been travelling up and down the continent, like a monarch butterfly, spreading information, co-creating intentional gatherings and always looking for new lifestyles in harmony with nature.
Through 11 years of being an independent and amateour photographer in Mexico, I have recorded, indigenous ceremonies and lifestyles, sustainable festivals and villages, ancestral energy vortexes, organic architecture, off-grid communities, hidden pyramids and exotic landscapes. Always capturing other realities with my camera, with the intention of sharing the knowledge that other world is possible, that there are multiple realities outside of the city and the comfort zone, life styles that defy the "established" reality, that live in harmony with nature, and within each other.
