I studied photography in school but I was never really sure what I wanted to do with it until I went on my first trip to Vietnam. It was like something woke up inside me. Before then I knew that I loved photography but I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted to do with it. The moment I landed back home I started thinking about where I wanted to go next! Everything about travel fascinates me! I love architecture, seeing new and unique landscapes, experiencing the new cultures and languages, and most of all I love meeting the people that make these countries so wonderful! My dream is to become a travel photographer. It’s all I think about and it’s the only thing that I want to do! I work full time at a restaurant just so that I can save up the money for my next big adventure and work on making my travel photography blog grow!

I’m currently traveling through Asia and so far my most interesting stop has been Nepal. I made a new friend while I was there and he took me to his family’s house in the small village of Dhorphirdi, which is 5 hours away from Kathmandu by bus. I was there for the holiday of Dashin and got to experience it like I was part of the family. It opened my eyes to a new level of traveling!

I really hope that you choose to work with me on the scholarship! I am very passionate about traveling and photography and I can’t even describe how much it would mean to me! Although I went to school for photography, I am still nowhere close to being a professional! I’m a hard worker that really cares and is willing to learn! You won’t regret it!
