A living dinosaur, common to Ambergris Caye, suns itself atop modern machinery.

The foundations of the buildings of Lamani remain visible in the foreground while one of the temples rises behind. Unsure whether these were in the market place or homes, one can still imagine the bustle of activity here. Excavated and cleaned for tourists, the entwined roots attest to the age of the structures.

At the village of Bomba, a father and son join the tourists at the market for a break. Marketing is not lost, even in the rural villages, as seen in the sign for the Silver Fox Guest House in nearby Maskall Village.
