My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

In July 2011 ago, I went to France to carry out the duties as cultural ambassadors of Indonesia. As a traditional dancer, i have mission to spread Indonesian culture to around the world. And here i am, arrived in the one of the biggest city in Europe, Paris.

Visit Paris is one of my dream when i was a child. So, i was extremely happy when i stepped my foot at the first time in Paris. Beautiful and romantic city, yes it is! Second day in Paris, i was join the Bateaux Mouches Cruise. Ride the boat and saw the beauty of the magnificent buildings along the river Seine. It was almost 8.00pm, and the twilight sky that depict its beauty, made me speechless. Only this lens knew how wonderful it was. At the end of the cruise, another spectacular view that arouse my feeling at the time. The bright and shiny Eiffel Tower, so beautiful! I can't resist to take some shoots of that tower. My day in Paris was so amazing.

The next day, i moved to Espelette, where there held folklore dance festival. Espelette is located in the South of France. Unlike the magnificent Paris, Espelette also have a beauty of its own. Very quite and calm city, warm people, i felt so 'homy' being there. So, I took some photo of scenery where i stayed. I stayed in the up on the hill, and from there you could see the town. It was beautiful. One of my favorite is the tree next my window room. Every morning when i open my eyes, i saw this branch hanging gracefully next to my window. Espelette has typical house, its diffrent from other house or building in the Europe. White wall and red paint for the window and door, made its looks warm and gently. The schedule in Espelette was so rough, so i only had some times to relax and enjoy that city. But, I am so grateful had the opportunity to visit that places. The amazing yet romantic Paris, and the other side of France, calm yet beautiful Espelette.

I wish i could have more time and the other opportunity to express how beautiful the world is. Hope i'm the choosen for this scholarship, to become a photographer, so i could capture and show to other people, how wonderful and mesmerize our world is. Learn from the professionals as Mr. Edwards, is one way to become more advanced and point me in the right direction to become a professional photographer.
