My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Through my years at college in Delhi I have developed a passion for this form of visual art. Though I had a craze for cameras and photographs in my childhood; I finally had my very own digital camera in my first year of college. Having not traveled much and staying away from home, this was a great opportunity to go and explore and to experience the unexpected.
Keeping my photography to myself and clicking what makes me happy; with the nature of my academic work I am a self taught photographer. Having learned mostly through experimentation and under the guidance of my seniors and colleagues at college I have been trying all types of photography in my reach to look at my area of interest. With the vast culture and diversity in Delhi, it had great opportunities at all times for capturing the best of the moments and offered the stage for my work. I have also participated in a couple of public exhibitions in the city through competitions.
Today I continue to travel to the far reaches possible capturing the various memories through my photographs. I feel this would be a great platform for me to display my capabilities and to continue grow my photographic knowledge and skills.
