My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Poland | Monday, December 31, 2012 | 5 photos
Photography has always been a real passion of mine as well as a challenge. I know that there is a lot for me to learn and with each shot I want to see some progression. I strive to be a proffesional one day and create works that elicit feelings.
I love the fact that emotions and moments can be captured with just one shot of a camera. They way the pictures can speak for themselves is fascinating.
I love exploring new places and one of my dream photography projects would be the ghost town of Pripyat.
This year I graduated Medicine and right now I am doing an internship. I have more time now to focus on my hobbies and making my dreams a reality. As for now I am self-taught and have no education in Photography yet, but planning to change that in the nearest future.
I am really happy to have stumbled upon this scholarship. Winning would be like the biggest dream come true both photography and travelling wise. I would feel honoured to be a part of the team, meet Mr Jason Edwards, acquire new skills and gain once in a lifetime experience that would open doors to new opportunities for me.
All the 5 photos were taken during my latest visit in The Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, it is a very important place for me and going there is an emotional journey back in time. I wanted to show an intimate story that brings up memories of how precious my childhood was.
