Hi there,
First off, thanks for the opportunity.
I am about to finish up an honors degree in anthropology, focusing on the way in which indigenous people support and sustain themselves while still respecting the environment.
While I am a student, living on a student budget, I by no means have the high-end camera that professionals use today, but I do believe I have an eye and a perspective that you will hopefully be able to see in these photographs. There are few things I love more than travelling, immersing myself into a culture that makes me nervous and excited at the same time, and producing something beautiful to share with the people I love.
I plan on packing my bags and going on a 4 month trip to southeast Asia after I graduate next January to take photos and hopefully figure out what I am supposed to do with my life. I want so badly for that to include photography, and if given the opportunity to work along side such a talent, I hope to not realize my passion (because I already know that) but gain insight into whether or not this could be something I have a serious potential for.
