My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
United Kingdom | Sunday, January 13, 2013 | 4 photos
After settling in UK after years of on and off travelling I've been trying to push myself to get my foot between the door to be able to say i'm a professional photographer. Trying my hands on weddings, portraits and still photography my passion still lies in travel photography and I have this feeling inside that this is where i started and got inspired to photography and that is what I love to do.
This would be amazing experience and It would be great opportunity to learn and follow someone like Jason and be part of the National Geographic channel.
My story behind these images is the great historic river Thames that runs through London. It's still is a lifeline for the people in the city as it was centuries ago when the city started growing around it.
It brings relief, enjoyment, and a little bit of serenity to the very hectic lifestyle that city is known for.
This scholarship is a dream come true. I have taught myself everything i learned so far and this would be definitely a big leap forward on my new career.
I've been commended earlier on travel photographer of the year competition so I know I have it in me. I just need the opportunity to prove myself and learn from the pros.
