Uncommon mishaps of a common man

Earthier side of travel advice

The very first day I was knocking about in Miami Beach was intended to be a mixture of pleasant strolls, hearty meals and if luck would have it, few beverages on the evening side of the day. The aforementioned ones did happen, though, but for some odd reason the highlight of my day formed of a quick conversation with William, whom I would stereotypically classify as a homeless person but for lack of a better word lets describe him as a man free of spacial commitments.

I was walking on Washington avenue, the street filled mostly with restaurants of myriads of different concepts. Maybe I was returning from Collins avenue, where good deal of towns stores seemed to be or maybe from Ocean Drive, admiring the Art Deco buildings and the latin vibe that surrounded the South Beach area.
Anyhow, in the corner of 13th and Washington this man called to me and asked me if I had any spare change. I did rummage through my pockets and found some odd coins, which I handed him to show my bonhomie. While I was taking my leave the chap unexpectedly asked if I would care to arm wrestle against him. Whereas I'm not much of arm wrestler but always open to new experiences, so I happily assented to.
The wrestling part was quickly over, when my adversary seemed not to offer much on either technicality or strenght, but afterwards we had a brief talk about the attractions of Miami Beach, as I thought he would have more knowledge in these parts than I had. William firstly recommended Clevelander, a nightclub of sorts, on Ocean Drive. Beer and good looking girls he pointed out. Why not, both seemed to be more or less the mainstays that the town had to offer, but anything else worth mentioning? Key West, presumably, was scenic place south from here that was worth a visit. Good bars too, not to mention. William said that really he and his friends were just having a vacation from there and would wholeheartedly recommend it. A gent behind William, who I learned to be called Streets, that previously were having his beauty sleep, presumably after night of heavy drinking, grunted approvingly.
I thanked these two good men and took my leave towards my lodgings. "What an interesting place and unique sort of fellows" or something in those lines I said to myself as I foot it towards my future incidents.
