My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Italy | Monday, December 17, 2012 | 5 photos
The competition will be fierce, the photographers will flock by the thousands to enter, and each will have story of why they love photography with all of there heart. I was able to persuade my European hardworking parents that my love for photography will be my life (hardest task ever!), hopefully you will be able to see this in my images.
The difference between the ladies and gentleman and myself is the "high" I receive looking through that viewfinder and finding the perfect angle, composition or subject. This "high" has me always striving to find new techniques, tricks and tips in photographing. I was the girl who was always caught on photography pages reading, "the battle between jpeg and raw," while I should have been researching "ethics and morals while working in a hospital." I was known as "the girl who always got lost" by my tour guide while on my trip to Italy because there was no stopping me when I saw the opportunity for a perfect shot.
My drive and ambition for photography, learning, adventure and interaction with nature and humans makes me the perfect candidate to take one of the most amazing adventures of my life.
