Menace of smuggling in West Africa

About justjuwe

Juwe is my surname and Oluwafemi, Abidemi are my other names. A black African, of Nigerian descent. I am a photography student and lover of photography, one you could aptly call a professional trying to kickstart a career in travel photography. I therefore have strong sentimental attachment for adventure and photography - rare photographs - exclusives - all of which techniques i'm eager to learn from the master himself, after having flown from my country of residence to Paro, Bhutan where I'm eager to meet and begin my JoJo's Adventure guide for the 7-day trip. I am 41 years old and of good level of fitness. having also had the nack to be an exceptional photographer with a lust for adventure, my ambition to grow my photographic skills and forge a career in Travel Photography, and of course a desire to travel to Bhutan is ever than now stronger. Since it is a scholarship, a learning experience, and therefore will not be suitable for professional or semi-professional photographers, I assidouly expect to clinch this global opportunity. Certainly, I sure will be available to be in Bhutan between December 5 - December 12, 2010 for the trip, which has been specifically designed for me where I eagerly look towards working alongside Jason Edwards as he does his photographing of rare and endangered wildlife in the Phobjikha Valley including the White Bellied Heron - where there are only 200 left in the world, and 30 live in this valley - Black Necked Cranes. The trip, I hear, will also include historical architecture and traditional Bhutanese culture.

 Expectedly, I w

ill gain invaluable mentoring and hands-on experience in everything from shot set up, technique and composition through to insights into his many years of diverse experience as an award winning photographer, even as I understand my assignment to involve observing and assisting Jason as well as undertaking my own photographic work all of which will involve long days chasing the perfect shot!

 I plan to

keep a daily diary about my time on the trip and upload this to a WorldNomads.com travel journal, including pictures I've taken.

On my return, I promise to submit my top photographs to National Geographic Channel for publication on www.natgeotv.com.au. Most of all, I should be experiencing what it's like to be a photographer-on assignment with National Geographic!

Since I know a

nyone can apply - and that it is open to photography students, lovers of photography or any non-professional trying to kickstart a career in travel photography, I see myself as being qualified.
