My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Traveling and taking photos is for me a hobby that helps me escape from the daily routine and discover the world around me seen through the lens of my camera. I love taking photos, though I never studied photography, so when I take a good shot I let myself driven by my intuition and my knowledge of history and human psychology. One has to find the right moment, the right place and the right person in order to get a good photo. In my case, I always see the potential picture in my mind before I push the “trigger”.
I participate to this contest because I would like to travel to Oman, get to know the colors and the flavors of this south-eastern country of Asia and try to capture it into my photos.
