When i decide to went to Kawah Putih, Bandung, i never thought that it can change my life view about traveling. Before i went there, i hate to traveling because of my laziness. My friend and parents push me to go and check that place. I must wake up at 4am and meet at the check point to get on the tour bus. I spent the whole journey from Jakarta to Bandung get some sleep. It spent more or less around five hour for the road trip.
The cold breeze caught me when I got off from the bus. There’s many stairs made from black rock, those stairs must used so i can go to the center of Kawah Putih. Those some stairs to climb up first and then some stairs going down so i can arrived at the site. The air around when i step on those stairs so cold, almost freezing even when i used my jacket. Feels so annoying to climb those many stairs, so I grumbling inside.
But, the moment i step the last stairs and face the landscape in front of me, i froze. Literally froze like a stone. I couldn’t move my eyes from the amazing view in front. Kawah Putih landscape is so beautifully breath taking. Feels like nothing matters even the fatigue i felt before.
It’s so amazing how contrast the young green color lake with sulfur inside it compare to white sand around that covers the ground. Behind the lake there’s also small mountain covers by trees with old green, more green than the lake. Kawah Putih really an open minded for beauty landscape, and also for my self. It’s make me feel alive just by being caught by Kawah Putih beauty.
Got caught by Kawah Putih beauty just need a first glance. The moment i saw is enough to make me fall deeply with that place. Kawah Putih make my eyes and heart open so i can like to traveling and paid attention to my surrounding. Make me wouldn’t want to miss to catching a moment like this again. A moment where a beautiful creation come to my vision field.
