    I still feel somewhat uncomfortable with myself for taking this shot as it appears so exploitative at first glance, but this woman had been so proud and eager to get a photograph of her baby that I couldn’t refuse. But this was exactly the sense of acceptance that I felt within the Kalimpong community. These people are so strong, with an incredible adaptability to whatever dilemmas come their way.
