I still feel somewhat uncomfortable with myself for taking this shot as it appears so exploitative at first glance, but the woman had been so proud and eager to get a photograph of her baby that I couldn’t refuse. Without a translator on hand, I could not get her story so it is left up to imagination, the future of this little child.
