A Day in The Yarra Valley

To have a career as a photographer has been a dream since I was a kid but I've always let one thing or another get in my way. When I saw this contest I felt elated with the fleeting thought of winning, the notion of visiting Africa (another dream) and seeing the magical landscape and animals that make Africa so wondrous. I live in Melbourne and my husband I frequently go on day trips to the Yarra Valley, a very special, peaceful place not one hour from where we live. The grass feels greener and the air crisper than near the city where I live and hopefully I've conveyed just a sliver of how special it is with my photos.
