    The steely stare of a small boy showed me the determined mindset that people in such places must develop young to make a good lidfee for themselves. This boy's resolve, not even stopping for the camera and the man in his wake, looks so determined to play with his makeshift football, even without shoes, that I feel he is staring through my lens and into the future. At 50, not old for you or me, but for a country were average life expectancy is 37, he is somewhat of a wonder.
