My Photo scholarship 2011 entry

I was born in Azerbaijan. My hometown (Oguz) situated near the mountains. I would say my childhood was spend in the mountains, with beautiful forestes,wild animals and with the anxious adventures. After the my secondary school I entered to University in 2005. In 2010 I have finished University. My bachelor profession is Arabic Studies. But I have always interested in social works. Therefore in 2005 I started to work as a volunteer in a lot of social campaigns and projects. In 2007 I founded local NGO, and I started to organize my own projects by the agency of Open Society Foundation, Heinrich Boell Foundation, European Youth Foundation, USAID, UNDP, UNICEF and etc. For example in 2008 I organized Nationality Human South Caucasus Documentary Film Festival in Azerbaijan. I have always interested to discover new cultures, new faces, different, enigmatic places. I have participated in a lot of conference and seminars about Media, Human Rights, Social works in Turkey, Italy, Poland, Georgia, Russia, Austria, Hungary, Lithuania. Showing life with photos it's a big thing for me. Now I work in Discovery Azerbaijani journal, as regional photograph and content editor.
I think it would be great chance for me to be selected for this travel photography program, and to get scholarship. I'm highly motivated for participating in this program. I'm sure that I will be one of the most active participant of this program.
