On a recent trip to Itay, my wife and i shared a long overdue holiday, our first in 20 years. We journeyed through, Italy from Rome to Capri, Pompeii, Venice, Sienna and Florence. To visit a country with thousands of years of history, was truly unbelievable. Seeing the Vatican, Ancient Rome the Colosseum, the Catacombs, Pompeii and Pisa was inspirational.

I am 48 years of age and have been taking photos for over 15 years, i first started taking action shots of my son playing Football and then ventured into, landscape and travel photos. I have 2 cameras, my main being a Cannon 5D and my 2nd being a Cannon Power Shot G12. My goal is when i retire to travel with my wife on a coastal advent around Australia. I enter my photos with National Geographic at every opportunity, and very often dream about becoming a Nat Geo Photographer. An opportunity to participate in a Nat Geo adventure and possibly improve my skills and learn more about Photography, would be an amazing adventure.
