My Scholarship entry - The Multi-faceted Darjeeling

Any kind of travelling excites me. Travelling for me is being able to appreciate the uniqueness of my mother earth, identifying the great diversity nature ornaments herself with. Nature keeps astonishing me with every sunrise and every twilight outside my bedroom window. Being an undergrad student of Geological Sciences, travelling and exploration means way more to me than to any ordinary tourist. I like to revel in the fact how the rocks, oceans and mountains are a holding within them age old mysteries of the earth and her birth. Travelling to me is like moving across space and time and landing on the Archean age. Moreover, a perennial thirst for adventure is what keeps me going.
Photography and writing are my tools to express my emotions. I aspire to be a geologist who can preserve for humanity an elaborate collection of travel photographs. I also wish to change lives and generate perspectives about the kind of world I dream of living in....where man can think above merely fighting over territories. Instead, I want my people to believe that nature is ever-giving to each one of us. She has evenly distributed her wealth. Let's not run after acquisition, but lead a life of bliss and in harmony.
