Travel is what I dream of, it keeps me motivated and through words or pictures I would love to show the world the world. My passion is Mother Nature, I write and photograph and share my love for travel on an ad-hock basis but to follow this path as career would be my wildest dream come true. Born and bred in Africa, my heart beat drums out a thousand tunes of a blended culture, a mix of colour and a culmination of all creeds. The world is waiting for me to explore it and my fingertips are longing to be buried in every soil of every city. This is my chance to show the world itself through my ever-searching eyes. Now 23, I am dedicated and on my journey to make exploration, conservation and travel my career and I believe this opportunity will set me on that path. This series of images was taken on a dark, silent night on a secluded beach in Phi Phi, Thailand, the stars and a few lonely lanterns lit the darkness until the men with the fire arrived and set the beach ablaze. Unafraid and with no concern for their own safety, or ours, we watched in awe as the tiny splatters of paraffin hit our clothes and filled our agape mouths.
