Portugal as I saw it

My name is Dusan Stojancevic. I am from Serbia, former Yugoslavia.
I love Photography as long as I can remember. Probably I inherited the passion from my parents, who always had the cheap Russian cameras at home.
By education, I am a Food Engineer, but never found myself in that.
My adventurous nature forces me to do what my heart wants.
Unfortunately, I am from a poor country, which had a lot of Civil War problems and that is why I could not provide myself a photo gear, and become a professional photographer.
All my free time I spend taking photos. Nature, landscape, life and travel photography are my passion, but I don’t mind doing all kinds of photos, as long as I hold a camera. My motto is improving skills and constant growth. I am trying to learn from the best and National Geographic is my favorite literature and source of inspiration.
Recently, when my mum died I realized that life is short, and decided to do the only thing I really love. I wish to become a great photographer, and at this very moment I am doing everything in that direction.
That is why I am applying here, and hopefully this would be a start for my new life in photography...
