Marine Drive is one of the most attractive and lively locations of Mumbai with a picturesque view and a nice walkway to take a stroll as well as enjoy the lovely sunset. It’s a location for many to take few minutes away from their fast packed life and relax. It also represents contrasting images of people with different agendas on their mind. Three images taken at the same location shows two sides of life: enjoyment and survival
Monsoon Wait represents a girl’s moment of relaxing and enjoyment while waiting for the great picturesque of sunset.
Dark side shows a man who is working hard collecting trash contrasting to others who comes there to relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Shattered dreams shows a little girl whose mode of income depends on the flowers she sells to the crowd that gather around the place for enjoyment. It also shows the suffering and pain behind all the glitters of modernity.
I developed passion for photography while at school but chose different career route after studies. For me photography became like a necessity and I gave up my career in HR to give full concentration to develop my passion. Street photography and travel photography are my keenest areas because people, various cultures, and traditions fascinate me. Faces and the stories behind them draws my attention. I utilize every opportunity I get to travel and explore different cultures and people and capturing them through my eyes. I believe I have the potential to bring out quality travel photography images. If my images prove that am worthy of this opportunity, this opportunity would not only be my big break but also a dream chance to learn from a legend.
