Lonely Roads

My Photo scholarship 2010 entry

Argentina | Thursday, October 14, 2010 | 5 photos

There in Cordoba, Argentina (my country of residence), a region of old weathered hills, where the Spanish colonists built their Estancias. There, people live a quiet life away from the cities, living in rural activities, tourism and handicrafts. In the plains that are worn those mountains, agriculture is practiced, such as green carpet to the lonely roadside where the sun shines brightly, even in the cold, dry winter.
I regularly visit these places because they make me feel at home, and maybe someday go to live among these stones. I have 41 years, and I feel that I have not experienced enough adventure in my life, now filled with the passion for photography. I have a career in the Corporate world, but I want to leave everything to become a documentary and journalist photographer.
