Last year I went to Australia for 16 days. I have never been to any developed countries before, I live in one of the poorest countries in the world, I have only seen the world through TV, Internet or Magazine. Therefore, my traveling to Australia offers me a golden chance to see the other world through my own eyes.
First, I would like to introduce some key facts of this country. Australia is the smallest continent in the world which located between Indian Ocean and South Pacific Ocean. Its total land mass is 7,617,930 sq km. The population is around 20.6 million. (Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia, quoted 22 April 2012). It is a multicultural nation which consists of many ethnics. The people are very friendly and helpful whom we can ask for information and support. They do their living by either doing business or being employed. But more people work for agriculture that’s why I can say it is an agricultural country. This commonwealth nation values the people based on their experience rather than the certificate, and whether or not they work as blue or white color worker, there is no prejudice against their job because they appreciate labor force. Equally important, Australian is a family nation. They spend most of the time with their family in the weekend, normally on Friday people come home earlier than the other day to have fun with family. That's why it is called Family day.
Since it has many nations, we can find varieties of food matched with individual nationalities' interest in everywhere.
Last but not least, there are many green fields which are truly natural view. If you want to have green environment and calm life, I would suggest Australia is your best choice. Yet, the cost of living is expensive compare to the other countries.
Since now everything about Australia is in my remembrance, I still want to visit there again, it is so nostalgia to think of it. Personally, Australia is a country of serenity.
