Portugal is a small country, badly known. People outside tends to mix up Portugal with Spain.
It's a pity, since Portugal is a country with great culture, which as dominated the world 500 years ago. This culture, from all around the world, is now present everywhere in what is the west coast of Europe.
Many places like the Berlengas, the small islands I choose to depict for my story, deserve to be at least known: I myself, as a french-portuguese, I didn't knew this fantastic Fort was there!
My little story, in only 5 pics, it's about reaching somewhere so close to us, but at the same time so far. I can understand why we travel all around the world to discover new things, new cultures, but sometimes, to discover something completely new, we just need to go just around the corner to be astonished.
Portugal is just this: just around the corner, prepare yourself to be astonished.
