Hello, my names Dean Jorgensen and i will be turning 21 on the 19th of november. I was born and raised in a town in central Queensland, Australia and i still reside here as of today. Still to see the world outside of Australia i stay here practicing photography and gaining my tools for the day i step out of the nest. My passion is to travel the world and to photograph everything i see, from architecture in The Vatican, to the jungles in brazil, to mountains, rivers, bears and deer plus every other amazing animal and the home they live in. In my younger age i loved to play deer hunting games on the computer always telling my friends how i would love to go hunt white tail in alaska, but growing older and finding photography i changed my mind to hunting them down using a camera instead of a gun, all the same skills needed except capturing the animals beauty instead of ending it. Loving the outdoors my interests consist of photography (of course), swimming, the beach, camping, fishing, hanging out with mates and lots more. Photography is definitely a career choice that i've always wanted to get in to but with, portraits and weddings are lovely to do but landscapes, wildlife and architecture are what i love most which is hard because to make a living portraits make the most. but learning things off every person i meet as well as every photo i see i strive to be the best i can be and to take the perfect image. Being awarded with this scholarship not only would teach me a great deal of new things and give me a foot in the door to this career path it will also give me that push out of the nest to get out there and capture the hidden beauties in this wide world.
