Places and Spaces

I will never forget the day that I first get to leave the United States of America. This day has been in my dreams since I was first in an airplane. The idea of travel floats in my mind everyday. I love the feeling of flying. I love adventure. I am amazed by the concept of time. The day I am able to leave my home country will be the best of my life. I cannot help but wonder whether it will be to a place where only a foreign language is spoken. I'm not sure if I will step off of a boat or a plane. It taunts me, will I feel the brisk air, heavy heat, or wet rain on my head? All that I know for certain is that travel is my calling. Writing about where I have been and what I have done creates a yearning passion in my heart and soul. So I will never forget that first sight of the mountains, the waters, the forest, the cathedral, the hunger, the smell, the experience. It will be my first take on the rest of my life.
