My names is Jon Runar and I am icelandic viking.
My passion to photography came to me, through the love to my beautifull wife.I started to make pictures of her, she is an opera singer...so pictures from concert and opera performances, photos for the poster and home page it was all made by me. I wanted to improve myself, make pictures better, that´s why I went to several photo courses to make my photowork more professional.
Last year I had two photo exhibitions and today I have a challenging new project - to publish a photobook.
I am working as a principal in a secondary school, I like my work. My love belongs to my family and my passion to photography.
I am living in a small fishing village Hofsos, north west of Iceland. It is a very beautifull place and every day it brings new pictures on the landscape...rainbow..raining...sun...clouds...just amazing... When I have some free time I am grabing my photocamera and hunting on a new adventure in nature.
I wish I have a possibility to travel and expirient new adventures and prove my photoskills as well.
