Had a great day yesterday, went for a long walk along the beach, which was much pleasanter than previous as much of the rubbish had disappeared ( out with the tide? ). Then lunch on the balcony of our room, Bassa fillets and chips and crispy fried squid. We wandered around the resort and took a heap of pictures as the place is so pretty. The security guards happily posed for photo's and all the staff are friendly. Kept the life guard at the pool employed and swam for a couple of hours, a garden setting, coconut palms and frangipanis right on the beachfront. Headed into the town, about a 15 min walk. Its a little different than anywhere else we have been, as its not geared up for tourists. There are no restaurants outside of the couple of large hotels, but coffee houses are everywhere. We have sampled a little street food, chicken and rice, and a seafood salad, which we could only eat a little. Strips of dried chewy squid was the main ingredient, and while we gave it a go, couldn't really eat it. We met two guys from Spain, just happy to see someone that could speak english, so sat with them till after midnight. They were really good company, and hopefully will catch them up again. We also came across a new shopping mall, which seems out of place with the rest of the town, and we will spend tomorrow shopping ! Hayley brought a pair of Luis Vitton jeans for less than $10 and is keen to get some more. The jeans here are really cute, fake brands with diamontes and designer labels. Today we have lazed around and caught up on some sleep, will probably walk along the beach later this evening. Love to all!

Sounds like a lovely town, nice to kick back and have a break from travelling, you still have hmmmm,,,about eight weeks to go,,so you are in no hurry.
Your mum is bowling today, tomorrow and the next day,,poor woman,I dont know how she handles her stressful life, bless her,I like to see her twaddling off into the sunrise, towing her bowls buggy, she arrives home exhausted, sniffs around the kitchen and asks what I've cooked for dinner.Pats the dog and pours herself a well deserved glass of wine.lol...good for her...
Your mail is always interesting and we really look forward to reading about the places you have been and the people you have met.Keep it up..

Take Care,,, Lottsa Love Mum n Dad xxxxxxx
