Between whoa to go....

AUSTRALIA | Tuesday, 25 June 2013 | Views [143]

To go from years of 'maybes' believing and a lot of dreaming to OMG its time to leave..... Emotions are funny things - years of ups and downs, with the plenty of 'maybes' and watching the $$$$ it really didnt sink in that here we are - driving down the inland road from Queensland to Gilgandra with our caravan in tow. Still hanging on to our stress , I might add almost protective of it at this moment in time knowing the fact of the matter is all stress was left back at the start and this was a totally foreign concept.

How on earth were we goingn to live without stress. What will we fill our days with. How will we keep our brains exercised? yet only our poor stressed bodies and what we'd put them through these last few months.A tourture not to be encourged but hey here already is a new kind of torture.

So to continue the drive from  Sunshine Coast inQueensland to the freezing weather on Melbourne all too quickly just like the temperature time started to stand still, days seemed to be lost doing a lot of nothing. OUr mood after passing through once thriving little towns only to find a few scattered "oldies" of days gone by with fallen down old pubs heaped in histroy but alone and negleted like the once thriving town makes us now wonder what is the REAL reality of travelling around as a nomad.

Here we are, Mornington Peninsula where most local residents, just like the parisians closed up home and have left for the winter. Those left tell us to enjoy the exploring because come summner $$$$$ hit the sky with no accommodation to be found and people people everywhere. In essence we are enjoying our new found freedom of new territory.

Currently we are adjusting, all to slowly to the once hectic, no time stress of life to the emptyness stressless syndrome where we almost flost through our days and adjusting to Caravan long nights with a little mini heater. Whilst our son and his new partner are also adjusting to life here we are already wondering when they leave and get sent on there way where is it for us from here? Of course we took pleasure in catching up, talking around the dinner table again and laughter of times gone by but all too quickly we have been passed by and they are back on with their own lives.

However - our treat for the day - coffee and a homebaked treat this is the daily task and have to say what a magic treat to have on a very very cold morning - Around the Balnarring, Sorrento,Hastings,Flinders wow do they have some great cafes to call into - now that brings a smile to our faces
