Well I have managed to get travel insurance, though bizarely insurance companies feel it is appropriate to load the policy rather heavily for those of us who have had a stroke and heart surgery! Why that should effect my ability to hike the many miles of the Appalachian trail, wrestle bears, escape rabid raccoons and deal with hillbillies high on moonshine I don't know!
Am rather glad that I am only flying back into that marvel of modern civil engineering that is Terminal 5 after seeing the news over the last couple of days. Hopefully they will have fixed all the problems by the time I return.
