This is just one of the many rice nurseries of R.T.R., Agusan del Norte, Philippines. The local called these luscious green plants 'Semilya" or seedling.

This is how the local level or plain their fields through the traditional way, usually with a domesticated water buffalo - kalabaw or the carabao - handled by a caretaker/farmer, before the actual planting.
